{"product_id":"this-is-not-a-screen-print-3-layer-gyotaku-of-sea-bass-heads-1","title":"This is not a Screen Print (3 Layer Gyotaku of Sea Bass Heads)","description":"\u003cp\u003eThe sea bass is my favourite fish to print and probably to eat too. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI'm based here on the beautiful Island of Anglesey surround by water, home to many sea bass. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bass I used for this print is supplied by a local fisherman with a licence to fish bass commercially.  He catches all his bass on line and supplies many local restaurants.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor this print I decided to use a different approach.  Using three acrylic ink colours, instead of simply blending them on the surface of the fish, I chose to apply a single colour, allow it to dry, apply the second colour allow it to dry and then apply the third colour.  This is done separately for each fish which means it's been printed on 6 separate times.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's given a very different effect from my usual work but I'm really pleased with the outcome it has a very different feel to it. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe print is on Xuan Paper and the ink is permanent and light fast.  It's an A4 print in a mount that is A3 in size. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShipping to the UK is included in the price.  Additional shipping will be added at checkout for overseas orders. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs ever any questions just drop me a line.
