Of all the things I've printed, shellfish are the most difficult. The hard shell, so many limbs and their three dimensional forms make it very tricky to get a print that is good. When you do get a good print the paper is stretched much more than with a fish so the mounting process is also very challenging. The crab and lobster I use to print with are always sourced from our local fishermen here on Anglesey. Langoustine, Prawn and River Prawns have all come from my local fishmonger.
