A5 Feather Gyotaku Blue and Gold

A simple feather collected from my garden which is full of wildlife including red squirrels, rabbits, pheasants and hedge hogs.

I've always loved printing feathers they make a very effective print and are popular amongst my clients.  This one is printed on Chinese Xuan paper and the backing paper is Japanese Masa paper.  The ink is acrylic screen printing ink and is blue and gold. Its finished with a torn edge which is designed to be on show but if you prefer you can put it under a mount.  

The print measures 21cm by 14.8cm and will be shipped flat and wrapped in acid free tissue paper.  It will fit in a standard A5 frame.  Every print I make comes with a certificate of authenticity.  As you will see with all my prints, they are hand pressed and re inked before taking an impression so each one is unique.  This print is supplied with a mount.
