Bass Heads Greeting Card

This card is taken from a gyotaku print I made using a line caught Anglesey Bass.  Instead of making one print, this is a layered print.  The Bass was inked three times, in blue, red and yellow ink and then the bass was flipped around and the process repeated. 

This is moving away from the more traditional way of making Gytoaku but I'm always looking for new ways to explore my medium. 

The card is printed on 300gsm fresco gesso which is a textured card stock.  It comes with a kraft envelope and sealed into a compostable cellophane bag. The card is 5inches by 7inches.
