Collected along the shoreline of the Menai Strait on Anglesey, this impression captures a quiet moment from my daily walk. The bladder wrack’s branching forms and air-filled pods reveal a delicate structure shaped by tide and time. Printed using sumi on handmade Thai Mulberry paper and mounted with layered Masa paper backing, the work emphasizes texture over form — inviting the viewer to observe the intricate surface rather than a complete image.
