Framed Feather Gyotaku Black and Gold

A simple feather collected from my garden which is full of wildlife including red squirrels, rabbits, pheasants and hedge hogs.

I've always loved printing feathers they make a very effective print and are popular amongst my clients.  This one is printed on Chinese Xuan paper and the backing paper is Japanese Masa paper.  The ink is acrylic screen printing ink and is black and gold. 

The print measures 17cm by 34cm and with the frame 30cm x 48cm approx.  Every print I make comes with a certificate of authenticity.  As you will see with all my prints, they are hand pressed and re inked before taking an impression so each one is unique.
