This handmade Fern Frond print celebrates the delicate rhythm and natural geometry of the fern leaf. Printed in black acrylic ink, the piece captures the fine textures and organic flow of each leaflet, creating a serene and detailed botanical study. The natural fibres and texture of the Thai mulberry paper add warmth and depth, enhancing the contrast and tactile quality of the print.

Each artwork is individually hand-pulled, making every impression unique. The hand-torn edges are best shown float mounted, allowing the beautiful deckle edge to remain visible and giving the piece a refined, contemporary presentation.

Part of my mini series of Gyotaku-inspired wall art prints, this work continues my exploration of natural forms through traditional printmaking methods. By focusing on texture, shape, and negative space, the piece transforms a familiar botanical subject into a modern, contemplative artwork.
