Four Panel Multicoloured Sea Bass Print

This is a truly unique piece.  It was an experiment that I won't be repeating due to the difficulty.  

Printed from a single bass, this four panel print was done on Chinese Xuan paper.  As I worked from left to right, I adjusted the colour each time I inked up the fish creating a rainbow effect across the work.  Once the four sheets of paper were printed, I then hand painted all the eyes in.  Next comes the wet mounting process.  Each sheet was glued down to a backing paper.  Here is were I normally stop.  However for this piece I then glued each sheet to a panel and then finally varnished them.  The piece is float mounted into a frame.  

Due to being varnished, it's ideal for a bathroom environment.  It will certainly add a pop of colour too.  Each panel measures 34cm x 69cm and with the frame they each measure 37.5x73cm 

Please examine the photos on this carefully.  There are a couple of areas that have small defects in the mounting and for this reason it's discounted.
