Here's looking at you Kid A3 Gyotaku of John Dory

Ah the John Dory, it's such a characterful fish.  With it's dorsal fin, it always puts me in mind of the mohican or mowhawk that the punks made famous.  So to me I always consider them the Punk rocker of the sea.

In reality they are generally solitary as adults and open their enormous jaw to hoover up whatever gets in their path. 

For this playful composition, I used an adult fish and the smaller one which was gifted to me from a scientific survey.  The composition is A3 in size so will fit standard size framing making it cheaper to frame if you choose to use an off the shelf frame.  Alternatively you can order the print framed and I will use my professional framing service for this.

I used an acrylic screen printing ink to produce this print.  Navy and gold are the two colours and they blend and produce a green hue.  There is some iridescence in the print
