Mackerel Oil on Board

My first effort at painting fish!  For some time now I’ve worked closely with fabulous marine creatures but never attempted to paint one.  This won’t be my last fish painting as I loved this so much.  

Painted using oil on primed board, the larger than life mackerel painting measures around 70cm long and 35cm wide.  It's not currently for sale as it needs varnishing but I'm showing it as an example of my painted work.  

The  painting is unframed.  As always happy to answer questions if you have any.  Postage in the Uk is free.
