Sea Spaghetti – Aberffraw Beach
This print captures Himanthalia elongata, commonly known as sea spaghetti. I've varied how I've printed the specimen, sometimes it may be printed in a flattened, straightened form that highlights its clean, graphic lines — or left to retain its natural flowing shape, echoing how it moves in water. This variation speaks to the organic unpredictability of the material and is part of the evolving nature of the collection.

Printed using sumi on handmade Thai Mulberry paper and backed with two layers of acid-free Japanese Masa paper, each piece is hand-torn and individually made. It is supplied mounted on board, which is stamped with my personal hanko seal.
