This handmade Seaweed print captures the fluid movement and intricate detail of one of the ocean’s most fascinating creatures. Printed in blue and gold acrylic ink.

Each print is made on richly textured Thai mulberry paper, enhancing its tactile quality. The hand-torn edges are intentionally preserved and best displayed float mounted to showcase the natural deckle edge for a clean, gallery-style presentation.

Part of my mini series of coastal wall art prints, this piece continues my exploration of Gyotaku-inspired art—a reinterpretation of the traditional Japanese printing method once used by fishermen to record their catch. Rather than focusing on realism, these prints celebrate form, texture, and movement, offering a contemporary take on marine-inspired art.
