Collection: PRINTS FROM BEACH PLASTIC

Traditionally, Gyotaku captures the beauty of marine life, but I’ve adapted it to print with plastic waste collected from local beaches. By using this traditional Japanese art form to imprint modern pollution, I aim to highlight the environmental crisis facing our oceans. Each print tells a story of damage and resilience, turning discarded rubbish into a stark reminder of what we’re losing—and what we still have the power to protect.  These prints are experimental and take very different forms with some like patterns others more like specimens.
